Database design
Currently, Minerva contains information on over 350 RCTs published in more than 800 scientific articles, documents from regulatory agencies and pharmaceutical industry, and RCTs registries such as clinicaltrials.gov or eudraCT.eu.
These clinical trials have included more than 25,000 patients. Children and adolescents represent almost 60% of the study population of these clinical trials. The presence of a psychiatric comorbidity is an inclusion criterion in 20% of the studies. Stimulants (methylphenidate and amphetamine derivatives) are the most frequently investigated medications.
